7 Months of Updates!
It has been 7 months since I updated the blog. WOW. A lot of things have happened in the past 7 months. I am now in a new class at school called Casa. I have 2 teachers and there are a lot of new boys and girls in my class. Some of them are older than me so I get to see the work that I will be doing in the next couple of years! I will be in this class for the next 2 years until I go to a new school for grade 1.
Here are some pics of what has happened in the past 7 months!
In September, Papa Randy came to our house and built us some new front steps with new patio stones and a little garden. (With my Supervision of course.)
Daddy and I went to an apple farm to get apples for his students and we found an apple on the ground that was covered in ants!
We went to Gramma and Grampa’s to play in the leaves with Simon and Isla!
I went out for Hallowe’en dressed as Iron Man and got A LOT of candy! I love Hallowe’en.
We went to a farm called Yee Haw Adventure Farm. It had some neat shows, pig races, big slides, a wagon ride and lots of pumpkins. It rained while we were there so I got to test out my new rain suit.
I have continued taking gymnastics. It is a full hour of exercise and on days that I am not tired, I really enjoy it. My coach’s name is Camile. This is a video of our warm up.
I was chased by some chickens.
We saw Caillou on stage!
Mommy, Daddy and I went to a hotel that had a water park inside of it! You had to be 41″ tall to go on the big water slides. They measured me and I was 41″ tall. There was a wave pool there which was a lot of fun as well. Here is a video of my very first water slide experience.
I made sure to fully explain what Soundwave (the transformer I asked for for Christmas) was to Santa Claus so he would bring me the right toy. He did!
I went bowling for the first time and I really liked it. I was pretty good too! I got a spare!
I have a new favourite tv show. Spongebob Squarepants. It is just about the funniest thing ever. Mommy took a video of my laughing at today’s episode.

Canada’s Wonderland
Daddy volunteers with the band at school. Every year they do a trip to Canada’s Wonderland in May. Mommy and I got to go too! We met Daddy there and had a whole day of amazing fun! I really like rides. We checked my height when we got there and I just fit into the blue line. That meant I could go on quite a few rides including the Ghoster Coaster which is a big person roller coaster!! The first drop was a little scary but I loved it by then end! Here are some other rides I went on, some by myself!
Balloons:
A jumbo jet that went up and down:
This one went up and dropped really fast:
Swings:
This is my first ever ride on a roller coaster. Very exciting!
Race cars:
Ferris wheel:
And of course, a nap inbetween

Catching up..
It has been a while since I put some pictures up! I have been busy these last couple of months. I got a really short haircut and did not get upset about it, I had the chicken pox and got a really cool star wars tent!
This is me, Gammie and Gramma at the Mother’s Day luncheon at my school. I poured their drinks for them!
This is my new star wars tent. Daddy and I like to go on ‘adventures’ and pretend it is a ship. We never let any droids in.
Here are some pictures of my chicken pox. They were ALL OVER my body, even my eyelids and in my bum! There was one night that I didn’t sleep at all because I was so itchy but the rest of the week wasn’t so bad. I missed school and watched a lot of movies with Mommy.

The transfer station
Yesterday was very exciting. We went on a tour of the dump and recycling transfer station. A school bus took us on a ride showing us around and then we got to go inside of the transfer station! It was just like the Mighty Machines video! We also got to go into the garbage truck and other big diggers and dump trucks that they use to move the garbage. It was a lot of fun.

Other Jedi’s
It seems that there are other Jedi’s around my age that have their own light sabres! I have been able to have some really exciting battles with them. Sometimes I have to remind them of the rules of light sabre battletry.
This is our friend Rich & Amanda’s nephew. He had Count Dooku’s curved light sabre! I really liked it.
There are a lot of Jedi’s in our neighbourhood too that I get to battle with sometimes.
Being a Jedi is very serious and takes a lot of concentration.
Mommy, Daddy and I went on a hike last weekend and Daddy and I started the hike off with a battle.
After lots of battling, Jedi’s need a good meal. One day I decided to make a surprise breakfast (just like Caillou did on his show) and I poured 4 bowls of cereal for breakfast! Mommy said that was a special thing and that I would have to go back to my regular two bowls from now on. This picture also shows my extremely short haircut. It feels funny when you rub your hand on it.

A proud moment
Today I went to my first swimming lesson without Mommy & Daddy! I did a great job and had a lot of fun.
This is Daddy taking me to my teacher.
We play on the stairs and take turns swimming on our backs and our fronts with our teacher Natalie.
I am so proud of myself! Mommy said “You must be so proud of yourself Hawksley” and I said “You must be so proud of yourself for sitting and watching Mommy”
We now know that I should pee before we leave the pool because we had to make an emergency stop on the way home.

March Break #2
Mommy and I went to Gramma and Grampa’s house for week two of my March break. It was a lot of fun! We went to 2 dumps, 1 for garbage and the other for the tree branches Grampa and I cut down together. We also visited their local Early Years Centre and visited a park near their house. I think it is the greatest park ever built. it is never busy and has lots of great climbing options. I am getting really fast on the climbing equipment. It is fun to stay somewhere else for a while with different toys and different things to do. I did miss Daddy and our Star Wars playing though.

What an adventure!
Today Mommy and I went on a great adventure with Simon and Leila. First, Mommy and I drove to Simon’s house. Next, we went in Leila’s car to the Subway station. Then, we went for a ride on the Subway to a big city called Toronto! When we got to Toronto we went to a theatre to see Max & Ruby live on stage!! It was a lot of fun. After the show we went to a tiny McDonald’s for lunch and to make the day completely perfect, they had the last two Star Wars toys I needed. We went back to Simon’s to play for a little bit and then came home to see Daddy. It was a really fun day!!

Oops..I fell asleep
What was I saying about not napping anymore? Mommy took this picture at 2:00 pm today.
