Visit to Fenelon Falls
We had a lot of fun in Fenelon Falls! (Mom, Aunt Leila, Simon and I) On Tuesday we went out for lunch with Gramma and Great Granna, then we went for a little walk downtown. Both Simon and I were really good boys. I have posted a picture of us in the car with our two car seats! I am also posting a picture of Simon giving me a little kiss on my hand. What a nice cousin!

Getting stronger
Yesterday we went on a geocache (well…we tried, we never found the cache) with Uncle Ryan, Uncle Jeff and Sam the doggie. It was a really nice walk through a trail in Kitchener and the reason I know this is because I got to face out in the Baby Bjorn carrier! My neck is strong enough now so I can see the world when we go for a walk! It was a lot of fun. I am really excited about tomorrow too. Aunt Leila, Simon, Mom and I are going up to Gramma and Grampa’s house for a few days. We are going to go for a ride in Simon’s stroller that holds two babies!

Dancing Hawksley
Mom and Dad took this video the other day of me dancing up a storm. It was fun!

Heart to Heart Sling
Mom has been looking for a way to feed me in public with a carrier or sling. A group called ‘Mama Mingles’ (a Mommy group that hold mini seminars once a month) had a display of baby carriers. The one that caught Mom’s eye was the Heart to Heart sling. It has been around a long time and was the easiest to use. Sometimes I am a little frantic when I am hungry so the faster Mom can get things organized the better. Especially if we are out somewhere. Here is a picture of me sitting in the sling playing our new mirror game. Mom bounces up and down and I think it is really funny. Really, I laugh so Mom will keep doing it to exercise her legs!

Papa Randy
Mom and I have started going to the Ontario Early Years Centre on Thursday mornings. Mom goes to a class to learn about my brain and how I learn and I get to hang out in the infant care room with a whole bunch of other babies. The ladies in there are so nice and they really know how to keep me happy! Last Thursday they did not have to get Mom during the whole 2 hours we were there! Mom says that whenever there is a knock at the door, all of the Moms laugh and say “Who’s baby this time?!” This week it was not me
Yesterday Papa Randy and Cathy visited. We went out for dinner and it was the first time I was awake at a restaurant. I got a little upset because I get frustrated sitting in my car seat but for the most part I was a good boy.
I am also posting a picture of me and Great Gigi from Easter. We went to a brunch at a golf club in Hamilton and I won a prize! I won a big basket full of sand toys. Mom says that she is going to get a sand box for me when I am older. I cannot wait!

Tummy time
My neck is getting stronger everyday. I can hold it up when I am on my tummy for quite a long time! Mom tried carrying me in the baby bjorn forward facing the other day and I did a pretty good job there too. This helps when people hold me in the sitting up position. It makes it easier for them and for me.

A letter to Hawksley Workman
Last night Mom & Dad went out for the first time together without me. (The nerve!) They had a really good reason. Hawksley Workman, the person I was named after, played in Guelph. They took a picture of me and wrote a letter to give to him. Mom asked the people who were selling his t-shirts and cd’s if they were able to get the letter to him, explaining what was inside. The girl was so excited that she went to his dressing room right then and there! She came back and said that she knocked on his door and handed it to him. Mom & Dad were so excited to know for sure that Hawksley Workman had received the letter. Gramma stayed here with me to babysit. I was a good boy. I took my bottle no problem and went right to sleep without a fight or peep! Of course, right before Mom left the house I had to cry a little bit to give her a little bit of anxiety to make sure that she did not stay away too long!

2nd Cousins
After my doctors appointment we went over to Simon’s house for lunch because they are in the same town of Milton. My Mom’s cousin Kristen also lives in Milton. Her sister Alison and mother Eleanor were in town visiting so they all came over to Simon’s! These pictures are of Alison and Kristen holding me. Kristen is having a baby in June. It is very exciting because there will be more babies to play with!

Another weigh in
Just a quick post to let everyone know that I had my first appointment with the family doctor yesterday and I weighed in at 14 lbs 13 oz. According to some fancy graphs and charts my Dad found on the internet, that is pretty big.

Showered with gifts
Gammie hosted a baby shower for me yesterday in Hamilton. The food was delicious (I found out later of course) and the company even better! I admit, I was a little scared and cried a fair bit but managed to stop every once and a while to show my cute face. Everyone was so generous with their gifts and I thank them so much! Thank you so much to Gammie as well, it was a great party! Gammie’s gift was the best of all. She painted a picture of me and Dad that I can keep forever. You might notice that it is of a picture that was posted on February 3rd.
