Swing in the park

Today Mom and Dad took me to the baby swings in the park. They wanted to see if I fit into them yet, and I did! They cannot push me too hard or fast because I am still a little small for it but I really like it. It was also a diversion tactic. I am getting tired before bedtime because I will not sleep long enough during the day. Mom does not want to put me to bed any earlier because I already get up at 5:30 am!

Visiting Claire

My Mom’s cousin Kristen had a baby girl named Claire on June 10th. We went to visit her and she is the littlest thing and she is so cute! She weighed 6 lbs 11.5 oz. I guess I am not the baby anymore!

Mom and Me

A couple of weeks ago Mom and I went to a ‘Mama Mingle’ with a bunch of other moms and babies.  There was a professional photographer there taking pictures for only $5!  Of course, being the deal seeker that she is, Mom went for it for sure!  Here is the picture they took of us.  Mom is thrilled with it!  I think I look pretty handsome in my buttoned down shirt and cargo shorts.

Ontario Early Years Centre

Mom and I only have one week left for our Ontario Early Years course. I will really miss the ladies in the Infant Care Room! I know Mom and I will take some more classes in the fall but it will still be sad to say good bye. They have been taking pictures of us all throughout the 8 weeks and so I am posting some of them so you can see me there with the other babies! (PS - My Mom’s cousin Kristen had her baby! A 6 lbs 11.5 0z baby girl Claire. I think Simon and I are going to look like giants playing next to her!!)

4 Months

On June 1st I turned 4 months old. Can you believe it? It is amazing my Mom & Dad how much I have changed in the last few weeks.  In fact, when I was at the doctor the other day she asked my Mom if I could roll over yet.  She told her that I could roll onto both sides but I had not rolled from back to front yet.  The funny thing, (although not so funny to my Mom) is that when we were at Simon’s house after the appointment, I rolled over onto my tummy!  The reason Mom didn’t think it was funny was because she was upstairs and she missed it.  She did get a picture of me after with my pal Simon by my side.  I now weigh 17 lbs 12 oz and I am 27 1/2 inches long.

The next day we tried out my little pool because it was such a hot day out!  I wasn’t sure what to think of the pool but I think I will like it better next time.
