Stroller Pics

I love my new stroller. Well. I love it once I am in it and we are moving. I really put up a fight when I am being put in it. Mom cannot figure it out and I will never tell why I get so mad! Once we are moving it is great. I like watching the people, birds and cars.  This morning, bright and early, Mom and I walked down to Sobey’s to get some meat for dinner. It was only 15 degrees which is why I am wearing a hat!  The other picture shows me holding a nice cold club soda. Don’t worry. It isn’t open, I just like feeling the cold against my gums.

I am becoming a big boy

This post is for Uncle Ryan who keeps bugging me to put up more pictures so here we go!

Mom and I went to Milton to visit Leila, Simon, Kristen and baby Claire.  We went to Chudleigh’s Apple Farm because they have a petting zoo. We saw horses, goats that made lots of noise, roosters and a donkey.  The horse stuck his head over the low fence and almost licked Simon’s toes!  We are the 4 month club because I am 4 months younger than Simon and Claire is 4 months younger than me. It is amazing the difference 4 months can make!

I am becoming a big boy now.  My 2 bottom teeth are almost done growing and now Mom is pretty sure I am getting my top 2 teeth. I eat 3 meals a day now (I LOVE eating) and I can sit unassisted when I am leaning forward and my legs are spread apart enough. (Ok..a little while to go yet!)

I am also a big boy because I am starting to help my Dad get some home reno projects done.  He has been working really hard on putting a path and garden beside the house and I was helping him for part of it.  My favourite part was the measuring tape. I think that thing is hilarious!

Family photo, teeth and swimming

We got our family photo back! The photographer sent many to choose from but this one is the best one because I am grabbing my foot and looking cute.

I now have two bottom teeth. It is really hard to get a picture of them because my silly tongue is always in the way but in swimming lessons I make a lot of open mouthed faces so Dad managed to get a shot of them.  When they were coming in,  Mom was pumping bottles for me because I was adjusting to these weird things in my mouth and I was biting her. Ouch! I have figured it out now and have stopped so she is no longer banning me.

Mom, Dad and I have been going to swimming lessons all summer. They sure are fun! I still get a little caught off guard when they dunk my head but I recover quickly and I really like the swimming and splashing part! I splash way more in the bath tub now that I realize how much fun it can be.

Some pictures

It has been a busy couple of weeks. We went to visit Gramma and Grampa again only Daddy, Uncle Topher, Aunt Leila and Simon were there this time! We went in the boat and had lots of fun. I heard Mommy tell Daddy that it is neat how Simon and I are really starting to interact with one another. I think he is the funniest guy!  The first picture is of him giving me a hug.

I had my 6 month check up yesterday. I weigh 19 lbs 2 oz. My weight gain has slowed down and I am much closer to a ‘normal’ size now for my age. I am still considered really tall however. Sleeping is still an ongoing struggle but boy is eating ever going well! I have had sweet potato, carrot, bananas, baby cereal and I tried a little bit of a Baby Mum Mum cracker. I like it all so far!

I visited my Great Grandfather Shaver in Hamilton. He was really happy to see me.

And here is one last picture showing how my parents are forcing me early to be a musician. (I have to admit that I really do enjoy banging on the piano!)
