Hallowe’en
Today Mom and I had a really super day. I ate lots, had a nice long nap this morning, we went to the park to play in the leaves AND it is Hallowe’en so I got to wear my costume. Gammie picked it up for me before I was even born. How did she know that I would look so great in it? I also wore my Hallowe’en sleeper and bib today to feel festive all day. I tried to stay outside to see some of the trick or treaters but I was getting pretty tired before most of them showed up. Oh well. Next year for sure!

Change, change there is always change
It seems like every time we get into a routine of some sort, I decide to change it up a little. I figure it keeps Mom & Dad on their toes. I have decided that I no longer want to eat solids. (with the exception of Cheerios and Baby Mum Mum’s of course) I have learned how to make myself gag and throw up and that is what I threaten to do when Mom tries to get some food in me. I wonder what she will do to convince me to start eating again? Don’t send her any ideas, whatever you do! I have also decided that the nap times I was learning to stick to are not for me anymore. I think we need to change it up a little bit, add some variety to my sleeping schedule. The pictures in this post do not have much to do with the text but they are some of Mom’s favourites from this month. They make her happy, so it was the least I could do. I am such a good son.

Kindermusik
I have been going to Kindermusik again for the past few weeks. This semester is so much fun because I can sit and crawl and explore all on my own. We sing lots of songs, practice keeping a beat, learn sign language and play with instruments. The first picture is of me crawling for the jingle balls.
In the past 3 days I have learned to pull myself up to standing. I am now totally obsessed with it. I try to pull myself up on every possible thing I can find. When I wake up from sleeping, I pull myself up in my crib too. I have had a couple of falls onto my head but nothing too serious.

My first thanksgiving
I had a great first thanksgiving. On Saturday, Gramma came to visit. On Sunday, we went to Gammie’s house for dinner and I met a whole bunch of family that I have not met before! Today, Mom, Dad & I went to a pumpkin patch. Actually, it was more than that! It is a farm that has a corn maze, animals, pumpkins and lots of cool stuff to look at. It was a lot of fun. I am thankful to have so many great people around me to play with me. I am such a lucky boy. I am also thankful that they make turkey baby food so I could be a part of the festivities too.

I am not a doll
Sometimes my Mom gets a little bit too excited about dressing me. I received some pretty great clothes as gifts when I was born and it is like Christmas for my Mom everytime she goes through the clothes bin and discovers some new outfits that I will fit into now. Like this beige jacket that she made me wear and the Levi’s overalls. (Don’t worry - Grampa did not make me cry. I was just overwhelmed and tired at the time!)
It was Simon’s 1st birthday party this weekend and he got some awesome toys that I got to play with as well. He also has a super nice kitty Milo that let me pet him. Trevor and Boo don’t really let me do that. Simon and I kept trying to bite each other and Mom was having a really hard time keeping us apart!
