The transfer station
Yesterday was very exciting. We went on a tour of the dump and recycling transfer station. A school bus took us on a ride showing us around and then we got to go inside of the transfer station! It was just like the Mighty Machines video! We also got to go into the garbage truck and other big diggers and dump trucks that they use to move the garbage. It was a lot of fun.

Other Jedi’s
It seems that there are other Jedi’s around my age that have their own light sabres! I have been able to have some really exciting battles with them. Sometimes I have to remind them of the rules of light sabre battletry.
This is our friend Rich & Amanda’s nephew. He had Count Dooku’s curved light sabre! I really liked it.
There are a lot of Jedi’s in our neighbourhood too that I get to battle with sometimes.
Being a Jedi is very serious and takes a lot of concentration.
Mommy, Daddy and I went on a hike last weekend and Daddy and I started the hike off with a battle.
After lots of battling, Jedi’s need a good meal. One day I decided to make a surprise breakfast (just like Caillou did on his show) and I poured 4 bowls of cereal for breakfast! Mommy said that was a special thing and that I would have to go back to my regular two bowls from now on. This picture also shows my extremely short haircut. It feels funny when you rub your hand on it.

A proud moment
Today I went to my first swimming lesson without Mommy & Daddy! I did a great job and had a lot of fun.
This is Daddy taking me to my teacher.
We play on the stairs and take turns swimming on our backs and our fronts with our teacher Natalie.
I am so proud of myself! Mommy said “You must be so proud of yourself Hawksley” and I said “You must be so proud of yourself for sitting and watching Mommy”
We now know that I should pee before we leave the pool because we had to make an emergency stop on the way home.
