Moving Around

A lot of big things have been happening in the last few weeks. First of all, I have been ‘Ferberized’. For those that do not know what that means, it is simply a sleep training method written by Dr. Ferber which involves ‘crying it out’ for longer periods of time, teaching me to learn how to fall asleep on my own. I was really relying on the soother to help me back to sleep so they took that away too! It has been going really well. I can fall asleep on my own now and most of the time only wake up to be fed at midnight. I think Mom is going to cut that out soon too. Oh no! I am still insisting on waking up at 5 though so we will see how they deal with that :)

I have been chatting and eating up a storm. I tried Cheerios for the first time yesterday but I have a hard time grabbing onto them. I have not developed the pincer grasp to help me with that yet.
I am trying to crawl so badly! I can really push and pull myself forward all around the room and I am lifting my bum up in the air trying to coordinate my legs. It is just a matter of time now!
