Monkey see, Monkey do
The last couple of months I have really started mimicking things that Mom and Dad do. A couple lately have made them laugh. One day when I was playing outside, Dad had to remove a lug nut from the wheel on the car. He stood on top of the tool to get it to move. Every time I am near the tire of the car now, I give it a couple of kicks with my feet to help Dad out.
Of course, when the snow was still around I really liked playing with the snow shovel, helping to get the snow out of the way.
I also have my own watering can that I water the garden with.
The funniest of all, according to Mom, is the diaper mimicking. Whenever I have a poop in my diaper, after Mom or Dad change me, we go into the bathroom and ’shake the poop’ into the toilet and flush it.
The other day when I was playing on the top floor, I went into my bedroom, grabbed some diapers from the shelf, carried them into the bathroom and proceeded to shake them into the toilet. Then I closed to toilet and tried to flush it. Now Mommy closes the door to the bathroom and I get really mad because I am just trying to help her out!
This is me dumping the diaper.
This is me flushing the toilet.
This is me asking Mom for more.
This is me at the park today!
