2nd Cousins!
Yesterday my 2nd cousins Reese and Avalon, their mom Jen and grandmother Holly came. So did cousin Simon, Leila, Topher, Nana Wills and Gramma and Grampa! It was a busy day. Dad set up a photo shoot and Mom tried to get a shot of all 4 kids together. Simon was napping and it was hard to get the rest of us to all co operate at the same time. Luckily Dad knows how to use photoshop and he managed to pull a good shot of each of us and put them all into one picture. Here is the final product as well as a video of the process of trying to get the photo. It was pretty funny stuff! Top is Simon Wood, left is Avalon Meyer, right is Reese Meyer and bottom is Hawksley Shaver.

That video is fantastic. It’s amazing what it takes to get four kids looking good in one picture!

I love the final product. It was so much fun trying to get them to sit, especially Reese. Cam you did a great job putting it all together.

Hi everyone: I had a wonderful day visiting with everyone and seeing the babies, “old” and new. I still find myself thinking back to the days when Jen, Kerry, Christopher and Laura were the little ones and we were sharing similar experiences with them. Now to see all of you with your spouses as loving, superbly competent parents, it blows me away.
Simon and Hawksley are so charming, cute and happy. I’ve been visiting the baby blogs regularly, but a new dimension has been added now that I’ve been able to spend some time with them in person.
Thanks to everyone for sharing your busy lives with all of us. Thanks for the great food. Thanks, Laura, for hosting our get together. Thanks to everyone who travelled distances to be there, and to Christopher who transplanted his office to Laura’s house in order to share in the visit. Thanks to Cam for setting up the photo shoot and photoshopping the pics. Perhaps Cam can photoshop himself into our get-together. He was there in spirit in any event.
I was looking forward with great anticipation to the photograph, but the “video” is just a hoot. Thanks, Cam, for preserving those hilarious moments into the future.
Again, thanks everyone for a fabulous visit. We’ll have to do it again at a time when Kerry and Persis (and new baby-in-waiting) can join us, and Stephen and Wendy as well.
Gotta go. THE GRINCH IS COMING!!!!!!
Lots of love, Holly/Mom/HollyGram/Aunt Holly/Great Aunt Holly

Thanks for having us all over Hawksley. It was very special meeting you and seeing Simon again. You were very sweet and patient and I loved giving you so many kisses. Thanks for understanding all the crumbs my baby brother Reese made while having lunch. He is a very messy boy! My Mom (Jen) loved when you fell asleep in her arms. I really like watching our movie…again and again and again. You are a cool, cute and smart 2nd cousin and I know we will all have so much fun together. We love you!
