A letter to Hawksley Workman
Last night Mom & Dad went out for the first time together without me. (The nerve!) They had a really good reason. Hawksley Workman, the person I was named after, played in Guelph. They took a picture of me and wrote a letter to give to him. Mom asked the people who were selling his t-shirts and cd’s if they were able to get the letter to him, explaining what was inside. The girl was so excited that she went to his dressing room right then and there! She came back and said that she knocked on his door and handed it to him. Mom & Dad were so excited to know for sure that Hawksley Workman had received the letter. Gramma stayed here with me to babysit. I was a good boy. I took my bottle no problem and went right to sleep without a fight or peep! Of course, right before Mom left the house I had to cry a little bit to give her a little bit of anxiety to make sure that she did not stay away too long!
