Simon’s baby shower

Simon met some of the ladies in my life at his baby shower last weekend. Everyone was so generous - I could barely fit all the clothes, toys, books and blankets in my car. Simon was a great baby and didn’t seem to mind being passed around like a hot potato.

Huge thanks to my mom for hosting such a great shower. The food was fantastic and everyone had a great time, especially me!

Maggie and Simon

Simon isn’t having any trouble packing on the pounds. At our midwife appointment yesterday he weighed in at 12 pounds 3 ounces. He was 9 pounds 11 ounces at birth and dropped to 9 pounds 4 ounces on day three, so that means he’s gained almost 3 pounds in 3 weeks. What a chub.

  2. You are looking really lovely, mommy! Can’t really tell but it almost looks like Simon’s locks are blonde in the pictures?? Surely not already??
